But not everything is perfect in this island paradise of horses and adventure. There is no progress or health bar for your pet. Since you don’t always know which tacks or accessories are best for your pet, some feedback would be helpful instead of forcing players to stumble through the game until they figure things out. Star Stable also tends to lag in some places after download, which affects the accuracy of the horse’s navigation during timed races. Its graphics are cartoony and a little over the top, which may appeal to some kids, but nothing like the images on the website, which don’t feel honest or accurate to the game. There’s also the problem that unless you choose to pay for a lifetime subscription, you’ll be constantly paying to explore the story and gameplay. If you or your kids don’t love horses, you might get bored of this game quickly. Star Stable is a fun experience for horse fans, but other players can start moving to greener pastures.
